Activists plan to sue Mass. nuclear power plant owner. The Boston Globe, Oct. 10, 2012. Citizen activists have sent the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) notice that they intend to sue Entergy Corp. for more than 33,ooo violations of the Clean Water Act at Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth. The violations total about $831 million in penalties. Another group has sent the state Department of Environmental Protection a notice of intent to sue the agency for allowing Entergy to damage the environment.
