The film Containment will be shown at the Falmouth Public Library at 300 Main Street in Falmouth, MA on April 27th at 7:00pm. The showing is FREE of charge; no reservations needed.

The film “Containment” tackles the current issue of radioactive waste and the danger it poses for hundreds of thousands of years, and imagines a future dealing with vast stockpiles worldwide. Run time is 81 minutes.

The film will follow brief introductions by former Karen Vale (Jones River Watershed Association/Cape Cod Bay Watch), Heather Lightner (Concerned Neighbors of Pilgrim), and William Maurer (Cape Downwinders).

The event is hosted by Engage Falmouth and Cape Downwinders.
